Elaina's words echoed in the ward. None of them had expected her to be there and say those words. For a while, they froze in their positions.

A few seconds later, Tania's expression changed. It was no longer a gentle or generous one that she used to have but rather a nasty one that was full of hatred, "Elaina, why are you still here?"

Elaina's eyes were red as tears were dripping out of her eyes and she said sarcastically, "Isn't my presence not in accordance with your plan?" Tania understood the underlying meaning behind her words and she shouted angrily, "How dare you to eavesdrop on us?"

To which Elaina instantly replied, "If I hadn't heard that, then how would I know how good of an actor my sister is!"

"Now we don't have to pretend anymore. It's good," Tania smiled and continued, "Once we used to be sisters, now be a good one and divorce Alpha Hayes peacefully. Accept his rejection, if you won't then you won't be able to tolerate the consequences."

"If you beg me now, I can still think about it." She looked at Tania, looking calmer than she was.

She was worried about the pups and thought that the sex with Alpha Hayes last night and that kick and push might not have affected her pups.

There was a long queue there, mostly pregnant women. Most of them were accompanied by their husbands and families. When she looked at their happy faces, Elaina felt that she was more of a joke.

She was pregnant with her beloved man's pup. But that man was in love with another woman.

"You went to see Tania again?" Alpha Hayes's voice was very cold.

"You told Tania that you won't leave me even if you die and never give her a chance to step into the door of the Blood Moon Pack, didn't you?" Alpha Hayes said in a questioning tone. His tone was gravelly deep and dangerous.

Meanwhile Elaina's face went pale. She hadn't said those words.

She tried to explain, but Alpha Hayes squeezed her wrist in anger and threw her hard against the couch.

"No! Alpha Hayes..."

Elaina was terrified after seeing Alpha Hayes's like that. She was scared that he might not hurt her baby.

Damon, who was comforted by Elaina, finally noticed the bruises on her face, hands and feet. His eyebrows knitted together and then he asked her where they came from and why they had not healed yet.

Elaina didn't dare to tell him that the bruises were the result of abuse by pack members. Because of the prolonged beatings and starvation, her wolf was very weak and could not heal the small wounds. So, she smiled and told him that when she was coming there, she accidentally fell down due to a dark road.

Damon didn't suspect anything and moreover he didn't ask her more questions. As he was about to take her to the werewolf doctor for treatment. Meanwhile he was looking at her wound with distress.

But it was interrupted by the sudden arrival of Alpha Hayes, Damon's grandfather.

Tina was Elaina's real name but it was changed to Elaina after she was adopted by the Baine family. That's why Damon mistakenly thought Tania was Elaina later on.

At that time before parting, Damon said, "When I grow up, I'll marry you and you will be my Luna. Wish you could be my mate, so we could be together forever."

She didn't think that after saying goodbye that day, they would never see each other again.
