Then, Layton kicked Elaina.

It was so sudden that she was caught off guard. Then Layton kicked her again. Her hands subconsciously went to protect her stomach. Before she could explain, this time Layton hit her hard on the head.

"You're merely a rogue. How could my daughter Tania hurt herself because of someone like you? It's you who deserves to die, not her."

Layton said through his gritted teeth. His every word was dripping with hatred.

"Dad, please forget about it. It's me and Alpha Hayes who aren't destined together. Elaina isn't at fault," Tania said in a teary tone. Her sobbing sounds started getting louder with every next second.

Meanwhile, Elaina's mouth was bleeding and her head was buzzing with pain. Even though her eyes were blurry, she could clearly see Tania leaning against Alpha Hayes's chest. There were tears in the corner of her eyes.

Alpha Hayes embraced her. He was caressing her back and there was tenderness in his eyes. He truly cared for her. Three months ago, if that incident wouldn't happened then Alpha Hayes's Luna would have been Tania by now.

Even though Eliana hadn't planned that, she still felt a deep sense of guilt at that moment.

"Tania, why are you still protecting this bitch? If she hadn't planned this whole thing, then the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack would have been you by now. You wouldn't have been feeling this pain of separation from Alpha Hayes that would lead you to take your own life. Still being a kind-hearted person, you are trying to protect this villainous person," Layton deliberately stressed on the last sentence.

"Dad, stop it," Tania said in a slow tone and then shifted her gaze towards Elaina, "Elaina, just be frank and tell me if you like Alpha Hayes then I promise, I won't argue with you. I am so disappointed right now."

"Tania, I hadn't planned anything…." Eliana was interrupted by Layton again. "How dare you say that it wasn't you?" Layton angrily shouted, "It seems like you are very tough and can endure more pain. Fine! I will beat you to death now."

Layton revealed his sharp claw and Elaina turned to the other side. Her hands instinctively protected her belly.

"Get out of here. Do you want them to beat you to death here?" Alpha Hayes's voice echoed in the ward. Elaina trembled and rose from the ground in fear.

She saw Alpha Hayes holding Tania tenderly in his arms, and that scene was unbearable for her to witness it. For the sake of the baby in her belly, Elaina had to get out.

A crowd of people was standing in front of Tina's ward. It seemed like they were watching a free show. Everyone's gaze was still fixed at her, so she lowered her head, covered her swollen cheek and went away.

But the moment she reached the front door, Elaina realized that her cellphone was missing, so apparently she needed to get it back. When she got to the elevator, the door opened just in time and Elaina was surprised to see Damon coming out.

When she reached the elevator, the door opened and Elaina raised her eyes in surprise. It was Damon who was coming out of it.

She was utterly speechless after seeing him there. It was very strange to see him leaving so soon. Shouldn't he be the one to spend more time with Tania?

Many questions surrounded her mind but she didn't dare to contemplate anything about it. She bowed her down and walked into the elevator.

She walked slowly and steadily to Tania's ward without making any sound. After a minute, she saw her cellphone lying at the corner beside the door.

Although she clearly wanted to pick it up and leave. But just as she bent down, she accidentally heard Tania's loud laugh coming from inside.

"I am happy beyond my imagination. What a scene it was! That rogue was being beaten up and was unable to lift her head," a voice between the laughter came from inside the ward.

Elaina could hardly believe that they were referring to her as a rogue.

"Three months ago, if I hadn't gotten into the wrong room then it would have been who had spent the night with Alpha Hayes, not that rogue. Who could she even get that chance? Even the thought of it makes me sick," the same voice came back again.

Elaina's whole world shattered in a few seconds. She used to consider them as her own family. But now when she heard their real thoughts about her, her heart skipped a beat.

"I am so mad at you. I had planned this whole thing so well, then how did it go wrong? I drugged Alpha Hayes's drink and made him drink that. In fact, I called the pack elders there in the early morning the next day so that they would witness my One-Night-Stand with Damon. So that the old Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack would agree to my marriage with Damon and made me his Luna. But I bloody misread the room and Eliana took the whole advantage."

Elaina's leg trembled and her heart was accelerating at the highest speed. All of a sudden, she was feeling sad.

This is what Tania is. That gentle, calm and kind sweetheart that Damon loved.

She was also the sister that Elaina had loved all her life.

"You're stupid. How could you go to the wrong room?" Tania's mother, Lexi, complained.

"I took that drug just to increase the fun. I didn't expect that I would be completely out of my senses and won't be able to read anything. It was indeed strong," Tania told her, "What should be our next step? I don't want to see her in the position of Luna of the Blood Moon Pack even for a minute. Alpha ha Hayes is my man, and he should be my mate."

"Don't worry about that. Alpha Hayes is worried about you. As soon as you ask him to divorce that rogue, he will do that," Layton said in a confident tone.

Lexi was also smiling smugly and then she said, "Your father is right. Alpha Hayes was forced to marry that rogue by the old alpha. But the person he loves is you. As long as you ask him, I am sure the position of the Blood Moon Pack Luna will be yours."

Tania sneered with disdain, "That bitch doesn't deserve to compete with me. Back then it was her bone marrow that matched with me, a mere reason for which she had gotten into our family. To be honest I feel sick every time I call her sister."

After hearing those words from Tania's mouth, Elaina choked and bit her lower lip in order to stop a sobbing sound from her mouth.

It seemed like Baine family had never adopted her out of good intentions, the whole charade of family was for her bone marrow that Tania needed.

It seemed like for five years she was just acting by calling her a sister. In reality, they didn't even like her.

"How annoying! I purposely faked my suicide so that Alpha Hayes would get so angry and he would divorce that bitch immediately. But before I could have gotten a chance to instigate him, unfortunately he suddenly had to leave for an emergency meeting," Tania complained angrily.

That's when reality hit Elaina's mind, "So Tania's suicide was also fake. She planned that whole thing so that Alpha Hayes would divorce me as soon as possible."

"Tania, take it easy. I'll call Alpha Hayes later and tell him that bitch deliberately comes here just to instigate you so that you would lose your composure and ultimately kill yourself. I'm sure Alpha Hayes will agree to divorce her right then."

"Mom, you're so smart. Just do it," Tania chirped.

Meanwhile, Elaina laughed coldly. Without hesitating anymore, she pushed the door and walked in.

"I believe that as long as I am alive, the Blood Moon Pack Luna's position will never be yours."
